Crown Appraisal Group’s Senior Housing/Care Group was formed in recognition of recent demographic trends and investor attitudes. The Group specializes in the senior housing component of the health care industry. It provides services such as appraisal reports, market studies, and consulting services including feasibility and development studies to lenders, investors, and health care/retirement housing providers. The Group has experience with a wide variety of property types including CCRCs, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living properties, and senior-only communities. Assignments have ranged from the east coast to the west coast, with the bulk of assignments in the midwest and southeastern United States.

With the rise of managed health care, the increasing elderly population, and the increasing trend in home health care, the elderly care and retirement housing markets are experiencing a great deal of change.
